Villain is unknown pretty much, I've just started my session. All I know is that he was a $70ish stack when I sat down so is likely a fish of some sort. I think my turn rause should be bigger here to make sure he's more comitted with pair + draws on blank rivers and get Jx to put more money in so it can still feel obliged to stack off on scary rivers.

I was planning on folding to a shove heregiven he has some 6x and can have sets also. I'd expect him not to randomly jus shove a J. His sizing is so odd though and I need to be good 25% vs a fish range of possible spazzes. the fact he;s just doubled through though makes me think he's way less likely to just spew some random pair or Jx here.

Thoughts?

I dont see why I'd wanna flat the turn when I can get value from and possibly stack Jx, get value from pair + fd, pair +sd etc and he has very few better hands in his range. When fish slowplay a set on a dry board they don't usually lead the turn and he has no air in his range really that I'd wanna bluff catch against. Why you wanna call turn?

I think calling turn or raising turn would probably be an in the moment feel decision.

He's also more likely than most ppl to have 35, 57, 46 here.

the river is pretty gross..

one main thing i'd consider here is how passive the fish is, since a passive fish is probably never leading any Jx hands here. it kinda looks like he can easily have 2pr+ and isn't super happy about the 4-str8 board here.

on the other hand since it's about half pot you only have to be good one in four or so, folding or calling are probably both options. fish CAN show up with weird hands sometimes and you're probably NOT beat 100% of the time here.

cuz of all the combo draws etc, i think if you raise the turn it should be bigger, the price you're giving him is excellent.
