Villain is basically unknown. I was sitting at a 6 max table and he joined. We've only been playing hu for 15 hands or so he seems decently aggressive has 3 bet a couple of times and not doing anything overly fishy. He hasn't been calling oop very much.

i'd pot the turn, or raise something closer to 30

you only beat a bluff and since it's a credible flush line in a big pot from an unknown i'd fold. straights 3bet the turn, sets c/c the river.

Heads-up I'd look this up.

I really don't get the flop check. Makes it so much harder to define his hand.

I totally disagree.

I challenge you to play someone HU and check behind every flop. Play 1k hands like this and then tell me if checking behind flops makes hand reading any harder.

I checked the flop cause I couldn't continue to a c/r which he could be doing fairly often on this board. Also I had no reason to believe I'd get multiple streets of value from worse at this point in the match.

I realized that I had a big station leak so I just wanted to double check that my fold was ok here.
