I'm not too worried about him having me beat, but a lot the draws I hoped he'd think I had come in...
Villain is 20/10 with 60% cbet. No real reads, he's been fairly quiet.
No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
CO ($104.40)
Button ($56.25)
SB ($79.10)
Hero (BB) ($99.50)
UTG ($116)
MP ($80.95)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 7 , 7
UTG bets $3.50, 4 folds, Hero calls $2.50
Flop: ($7.50) 7 , 10 , 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $5.50, Hero raises $17, UTG calls $11.50
Turn: ($41.50) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $26, UTG calls $26
River: ($93.50) 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $53 (All-In)
I was thinking about 1/2 pot on river, but that leaves 10 in my stack which seems silly, so then I toss up between smaller or shove. Since he got here I'm putting him on a big PP, hoped he couldnt fold it.

Totally standard. You're gonna win some of the time he's gonna fold river some of the time and you're gonna lose some of the time. NH

I might actually like to crai on turn for a couple reasons....
1. It's not extremely likely you get two streets of value when the 3rd club falls, so he may end up calling your turn bet w/ something like QxQc then folding when you shove the river.
2. He might decide he wants to protect a hand like that on the turn then feel committed to call it off once you've shoved.
3. If he checks it back, he's likely calling a bet from you on the river, the only concern is if the 4th club falls, but that's a concern you have to live w/ anyways if you are betting turn and he calls, only difference is, in this case, the pot that you end up losing becomes smaller, not larger as in the other case.

I don't like c/rai on the turn here. I tried typing out some sort of post explaining why but couldn't get anything that I liked. The botom line is if you think in terms of what your ranges are in spots like this you should realize how c/rai the turn here makes your life more difficult and doesn't help you play in a way that makes it difficult for your opponents, ie having a wide range of hands when you do something.
There are situations where I like a c/rai here but it's not vs a villain with nitty or regular looking taggy stats.

Meeloche,
I def agree w/ you vs a strong and thinking player, this guy is like 20/10 though, and I'm not concerned about having a balanced turn betting range since it's just so unlikely I'm ever ever ever bluffing this particular flop if I c/r it anyways.

Yeah, this guy wasnt particularly strong, but then I think that makes it less likely he'd bet turn with overpair + FD.
