I am thinking that checking on the river with a made hand with people to act behind you is more +EV then betting out. I'll let you all decide.

It very much depends on the hand and the other player(s) involved. In this situation you have a scare card on the turn that probably didn't hit him. He is thinking you have trip queens and that your turn check is a trap; therefore he's not calling a big bet on the river. I would often check this and call or check-raise if he bets. I might also bet a small amount like $1 and hope to get paid a little bit. A pot-sized bet is probably not going to get called often, and if you get raised you're probably in real trouble (although I don't think his line indicates any kind of a big hand most of the time).
