Villain is 30/24/7.4% 3-bet over 70 hands. He's on a few tables and seems to at least be positionally aware and has been very active.
I feel like this is the sort of spot he expects me to have air a lot and can pick up my c-bet. Is this too spewy?
On the turn I didn't know what the hell to do. The reason I 3-bet the flop is that I thought he was repping a very narrow value range since most regs don't raise AJ or worse here for value. If I think he can have AJ or worse I'd barrell this turn to scare the shit out of that part of his range, but since my reasoning for raising the flop was that these were unlikely, I just wanted to shutdown giving him a range of mostly sets.

3bet>fold>>call. once he calls the 3bet i agree it would be a bad idea to jam the draw since we certainly don't have much fold equity.
the first time you get check/raised in this spot i would prefer 3betting a backdoor draw over floating one. with A7/89 i'd rather call the c/r and see a turn.

With AA/KK I'd be more inclined to call the c/r and plan on calling down based on how the board ran out and his sizing. Until he showed me he could c/r worse for value and felt worse I don't think I'd be 3-betting these hands.

Most likely villain won't react properly to it, but your flop 3bet sizing doesn't rep nothing to me. I can't imagine you're doing this with any made hand.
The line in itself works out pretty well because when you don't have the initiative you'll get barreled on the turn/river a decent amount and have to fold. Now you got 2 free cards and possibly won the hand.
But I prefer to take lines and betsizing that rep something, although as said I don't give any villain at 50NL enough respect to take advantage of not doing so, so maybe I shouldn't.

i'd rather float his flop raise in position w/ 2 BD draws here. Especially since his c/r is basically a minraise.

I'd call the flop c/r if I was going to continue, based on the above.
If I had called, I would have probably shoved this turn if he bet.
