Last night in our weekly home game I made it to the final two. And we traded blinds two times and then he goes all in. I'm BB and I have QhTd I put him on a low pocket pair since he's that type of player. As he turns his cards over he said "Highest pocket pair!" I knew I was in bad shape and would have to catch at least two cards. Flop comes 9x Qx Jx. I couldn't dream of a better flop. Now I have open ended straight draw and a pair. I end up catching a T on the river to win the tournament.

This guy has the worst luck with pocket Aces. All summer I haven't seen him win a hand with them. And one night he ended up going heads up against AA twice in three hands to get busted and had to rebuy.

This was a good win though my first win out of 6 tournaments I've played this month. I've made it to heads up 3 times but this was the first time I pulled out a win.

AA is the best thing to go all in to win the largest possible quantities of chips

The pocket rockets have to be the most coveted preflop pair, but there are a lot of reasons to sweat it out if taken to the river. Do you slow play them, or push all in? Aggression is the key heads up, I wouldn't let someone see it all the way to the river before going all in.

It makes you feel better if you show your hand histories to other players and they go like: 'WOW thats so sick' and 'No way dude, that guy is such a donkey'. Trust me
