I know, fold pre flop ...But besides that? This guy had done the same thing to me with AJ high earlier into another decent size ~12$ pot and showed it. I guess i'm beat by a 5 too easy to be wanting to put that much money in with top two pair, but i think i was tilty cuz i had been sucked out by bottom pair twice in the last 5 hands at this table...Sigh, bad afternoon for me.

So many draws are completed by the time that river comes. I would have just checked and hoped for a cheap showdown. When he reraises you have to know you are beat for sure and just lay it down. Betting more on the flop is probably a good idea with a connector and 2 of a suit out there. On a side note, a lot of people show their bluffs so when a situation like this comes up later and they hold the nuts people call them down. You gotta let go of this one.
