Any way i could have avoided losing this pot? I think i should have raised more on the turn...
Villain is 30/10/1.2 over 100 hands
He has also been pretty chatty; i think he is only playing 1 table.
I hate a flop 4bet since i don't think he continues with anything i beat. Thoughts?
Hero: ($247.60 in chips)
LoosePassiveFish: ($140.65 in chips)
Villain: ($113.35 in chips)
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero: [8c Qs]
1 fold
Hero: raises $2 to $3
LoosePassiveFish: calls $3
1 fold
Villain: calls $2
*** FLOP *** [8s Ac Qc]
Villain: checks
Hero: bets $6
LoosePassiveFish: folds
Villain: raises $9.50 to $15.50
Hero: calls $9.50
*** TURN *** [8s Ac Qc] [Th]
Villain: bets $19.85
Hero: raises $24.15 to $44
Villain: calls $24.15
*** RIVER *** [8s Ac Qc Th] [6h]
Villain: checks
Hero: bets $30
Villain: calls $30
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Hero: shows [8c Qs] (two pair, Queens and Eights)
Villain: shows [Ad Tc] (two pair, Aces and Tens)
Villain: collected $186.50 from pot
Also, thoughts on my "value" bet?

after his flop c/r turn lead I would slow down and just call. River I would check, you are only getting called by better hands usually...
this is not a bad beat

i think a loose-passive's range on the flop is mostly AT+ and A8. if he seemed frustrated or overvalues TP or something, i would just push the flop, repping a draw.
on the turn, you're beating AJ/AK and semi bluffs. I think I'd rather just call the turn and evaluate the river.
I don't really understand the point of your turn raise, since it gives good odds.

Yeah, i think a turn raise is a bad play since it brings me close to AI with a weak two pair against someone who hasn't been splashing around.
As played river value bet was pretty marginal, though once he just called the turn raise i was thoroughly confused as to what he was holding.
Definitely not a bad beat, though i still don't see folding this hand unless a third club or an Ace came on the turn/river.

if you are confused, checking river is best option.
also, why did you title the thread bad beat?

I bet the river mostly because i tried to put villain on a specific hand (in this case, a one pair Ace). At the time i didn't see how a stronger hand wouldn't shove the turn and so i figured he must have either a missed flush or A-J/A-9.
I incorrectly titled the thread "bad beat". It was a pot i should have better managed, and i remember being pretty annoyed since that hand was in the midst of a losing session - go figure!
