Sorry can't access hand history to convert .....

Game was initially 6 max $0.10/$0.25 but ended up HU. We played around 20 hands HU, villain was 32/9/1.2 over 89 hands 6 max. Limp called raises OOP almost all the time, had seen him semi bluff 2 gutters on flop prior.

Hero is BB $65
Villain is SB $72

Start cards Ac Jc

Villain raises to $0.85
hero raises to $3.25
Villain calls

Flop 3s 4d Js

Hero bets $5
Villain raises $15
Hero raises all in
Villain calls

Standard play?

villain looks fairly passive. passive villains check call their draws.

how does he perceive you? if you appear super aggressive then he might think his KJ is good. but i don't think a passive villain check raises KJ.

if you had TPTK and the board was 3s Ad 4s... i'd say stack off heads up... as weaker A's will likely pay you off.

i usually respect a check raise from a passive villain.

he'll continue to be the type of poker player we all love, the one that isn't any good but thinks he is, and slowly donates to the regulars.

Ermm was kinda passive for the most part, but played very strange. Limp called 79 suited to a raise OOP, check raised a 2 8 5 rainbow flop and bluffed pot river with the K turn and 2 river, so not really an ABC player.

Pretty much rules out AA, QQ, KK as i really dnt think hes smart enuff to flat this preflop in position, JJ was so unlikely as i held one and the other on board. Only thing i really felt i was losing to were 333 or 444 and he based on prior action was the kind of player to get a little fruity and fancy with a draw.

Not really much interest in the thread lol so can say he flipped over 33 for a set, suppose the real question is this just a cooler given my reads on villain or os there any way i can play this diff?

from my experience... a check raise from a passive player @25NL is usually better than TPTK. there are some interesting opinions about this here.... 25NL vs 200NL... C/Ring... draws... sets... etc.

but as you pointed out... this guy C/R a gutshot. is he gonna do that again with some strange draw... THIS DEEP STACKED... especially since you (or someone) called him down and saw his 79. i'm not even sure a maniac 25NL player would this deep stacked.

Standard cooler, just get the money in.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.
