The small bet and call OOP was a frequent occurance at this table by Jarules and jvrd. If they were raised, they'd sometimes call and sometimes not call. Given that (pretty useless info), what is my best play here? Also, what should my turn action be?

I would raise small to something like $5. You can't count on these players to be aggressive and build the pot for you. If they are on a draw or even just have a pair they will likely call you on the flop.
PSU Class of 2011 weeeeeeee!

$6 flat.

I see a lot of absurd calls in spots like this.

errr, misread the board. I thought we had the oesfd with the added benefit of an offsuit K being a money card against Qx.

I'd still raise though... build that pot.

Yeah, key lesson here.

If you let guys who are betting $1 into $6 pots drive the betting, you're getting no value out of your hand.

Call, because of malta yet to act. I think that those two probably have squat, so you don't want to blow them out on the off chance they pick up something on the turn. Malta may get frisky sensing "weakness", or may actually have a hand.

Unless you get raised, you are going to have to put a big bet in on the turn and hope someone calls.

Or just play it like you would QhX and hope someone is paying attention

With a weak bet and 2 calls, this is a terrible spot to expect the tall stack to get out of line without a luckbox-aggro-donk read.

Raiiise, another heart here destroys the action. AJ will call, two pair will call/reraise, someone with a lower flush, trips etc..Building a pot > them folding, so dont slowplay this.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

Meh, I change my vote. I guess I was thinking that they never have anything better than a draw or pair< JJ here, or if they do have 2-pair+ they are never folding.

I knew I was raising, but I wasn't sure how much. So $6-$8 then?

So true about a fourth heart killing all the action.

Okay, thanks guys.
