Villain is a 21/19 TAG over 150 hands, but with 15% 3-bet. Not only that, but thats comprised of 35% 3bet from the BB (thats only 20 chances, but its a fair pattern).

Heres the line I took:

No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($100)
UTG ($122.75)
MP ($93.70)
Hero (CO) ($100)
Button ($86.85)
SB ($125.50)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, A
2 folds, Hero bets $3.50, 2 folds, BB raises $10, Hero calls $7.50

Flop: ($22.50) 5, Q, 7 (2 players)
BB bets $13, Hero raises $33

Obviously a lot of different ways I could play PF and flop, wondering what people think would be best.
Just playing to improve.

this is fine, 4betting pre is fine, flatting flop is fine

tough to say whats best w/out knowing much about how he plays postflop..

If he loves to go crazy postflop maybe id just flat here, or raise a little less

Am I the only one who thinks 40$ is good here to make it look like we're commited with a draw?

If you look committed, that means he can't re-bluff you. We want to raise a size that makes it look like we're stealing or making a move, and that he still has fold equity if he comes over top with AK or 68 or something. Last thing we want is for him to fold those hands.

Ahh, gotcha. My line of thinking is was that we don't want him to fold his pair ever, but yes this seems much better.

There's no way anyone should ever be folding an overpair here in a 3bet pot, regardless of bet sizing. If we're beat with AQ here so beit, but we wanna make the most from worse hands along the way.
