Approximate odds you were delt the best pocket pair.

I treated each hand delt as an independent event, so these numbers are only approximate and probably pessimistic as the number of hands increases. Need to cross-reference with some simulation to validate.

For example, if you hold 22 (quack quack), it shows there is about a 78.5 percent chance you have the best pair. However, if there are 10 players it shows there is only about a 58 percent chance you have the best pair.

The chart helps explain why players sometimes move all in with deuces pre-flop when playing head-up. Those same players sometimes throw away deuces pre-flop on a 10 player table. Obviously other hands like big slick weigh into these decisions, but the chart is definitely helpful.
