Villain is an unkown here. 25NL
MP1 raises to 0.85
Hero calls from bb with
Flop (1.85)
Hero bets 1.5
Villain calls
Turn (4.85)
Hero checks (going for a check-raise)
Villain checks
River (4.85)
Hero bets 3
Villain raises to 6
Hero.....
Anyone like a small 4bet to about 12 dollars here? I think the turn and river put a lot of 2 pair hands out there...I also think with a made flush most villains either raise flop or bet turn correct? If he pushes over my 4bet I think I have to fold but a villain at this level is usually not capable of doing this. Anyone like?

first of all going for a checkraise on the turn is really bad here. hes not betting a lot of stuff but will call lots of bets here. also you just dont want to give a free card obv.
river i think i would push it would be weird for a flopped flush to just check behind the turn and this looks a lot like some 2 pair like QJ. i guess jacks might play it like this too but thats a small part of his range overall i think you are pretty good here and he will call a shove with lots of worse hands like QJ.

^Pretty much exactly what he said. Although im leaning for a raise, i don't think a call is bad. So many donks play their flushes like this, but i feel like were losing value from our set since their is probably a lot more in his range. So a 4 bet seems ok by me.

in small stakes no one is going to do the betting for you.
river is an easy call, and if you were to raise it'd be a 3-bet not a 4-bet.

I think checking the turn here hoping villain will bet is very -ev. Villain has shown little aggression and if the has the most obvious hand (flush draw) giving a free card is really bad.
That being said I think as akward as villain played hand I just call river.

Call the river. AhTo is in his range as well as a small flopped flush. You're not looking too good if the pot gets large on this river.
