I'm not.

On this site, I consider complete unknowns to be donkeys, until proven otherwise.

What do you put an unknown on that we not only beat but also pays us off if we play the hand much harder?

I think shoving back over on the river is bad but I'd be interested if others think there's merit to it.

well people dont fold full houses. so unless he has a 2 here... i would think that an pair higher than yours would play this way differently if he has an 8 or 9 he is probably calling and he could easily have like an a8 a9 kind of hand here. and you never know 55 66 77 might make a bad call too.

That's true, but I think even a donk could figure out relative hand strengths here.

Normally I would think a pair higher than mine would play it different as well, but I don't like to give an unknown credit for 3-betting JJ-QQ because they just as often flat call with it. I also think A9 could be possible, I really doubt A8 plays this way though. And I don't think you ever see 55-77 turning their hand into a bluff on the river here. And the times they make a bad call on the river, are way less than the times we are beat.

BTW, I'm not rejecting your input, I appreciate it; just debating it to hear the reasoning behind it.

Anyway, he had 62o of course, but I was mostly expecting to see A9, 99, JJ-QQ when I called.
