has he ever 3-bet before? i hate the line, but in the heat of battle i can never find a fold in situations like this. i think villain shows up w/ A8 here mostly, maybe 55.

I check the turn because if it goes check check i can c/c a river (although im not happy giving a free card) but also if it goes bet/call i can muck knowing someone has a an 8.
Does that make an difference to then calling a river when its effectivly a brick. Opp isnt bad enough to call down with a 5. but he could have an 8 IMO.

Also, his range is going to be full of crap considering he plays 25-30% of hands. eg 67 diamonds, probably even AQ/AK as much as he has an 8. After the turn play i check the river so he would bet all his range and then i had a choice to call/fold obv.

b/f turn w/ the $70 he did. and c/f river to any bet if your turn was called. i hate dbl paired boards when someone shows interest in two salvos. i cant see what you will either beat or blow out by the river that isnt already gone.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.
Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

imo checking misses a ton of value, and some info. it used to tilt me when i 2 barreled there and saw the junk passive type ppl wanted to showdown (like AQ+).
river will still be a sorta tough decision, but i still prob c/f. vs someone a bit more donkish sounding i would c/c.
