Had a super sick horrible session tonight. Anyways here's a tough decision from it.

Villan hasn't been at the table that long. Seems unremarkable, too loose, not super spwey though. 45/12/1.7 over 100 hands.

Stacks:

me (But): $800
villan (BB): $530
SB: $50

I open raise K J to $16 on the button, SB and BB both call.

Flop comes: J 4 6 [pot: $48]
SB shorty minbets, Villan calls and I whack it up to $36 with my top pair.
Both players call (SB is all in).

Turn is T [$155]
check, check

River is K [$155]
checked again and I bet $110. Villan raises to $300 total. Hero??

$190 to call, wtf do I do?

meeloche is on a distinguished road
This is why I hate 2 pair. All I can see is a slow rolled set. 44 or 66. I guess JJ and 1010 is possible but I think he'd 3 bet a buton raise preflop with those hands or at least I would. Runner runner straight seems unlikely. I can't put him on KK cause he would have 3 bet that preflop and I can't think he'd check the turn. even with 44 66 why is he checking the turn? Would he really bluff with a player all in? So I attempted to answer this post but by the end I can't put him on a hand! lol i'm just as lost as you and I guess I pay it off and guess that he has some kind of weaker two pair combo if he's that loose. Wish I could be more helpfull.

Just curious did you pay him off and if you did what did he have?

i'd call that, but not feel great about it since you say he doesn't seem spewy and is passive.
timing on the flop and river might help.

Not quite sure about this one but against an opponent as described I cannot really lay it down. But often when I have a bad session and I'm c/raised on the river I'd fold only because of his total AF. Players like that don't get tricky without trips+.

I usually call and don't even think about this one. So many two pairs he could have here, even AK. I wouldn't even be surprised if i saw a bluff. People like this usually don't understand the concepts of a dry pot.

Right cool. I called and was shown 66. Looking back over it now and looking at peoples posts I don't even see whats so difficult about it anymore. I guess it was just frustration.
