Lol yes I'm still at 50NL. Stupid life expenses

The table has just become 3-handed this hand. Opp is a 28/26 pseudo-lag.

The reason I folded is that it must be quite obvious by the turn that my range is much more Ax than it is 88-QQ trying to cling on. I also reckoned that he'd be more likely to c/r the flop with an FD.

3 betting pre sucks, as played I doubt I fold vs this opp. I'd expect him to be c/ring his strong flopped hands so this looks more like him either trying to bully you out or having some form of combo draw like qj/10, j10,kx clubs.

However it was 3 betting in the first place that got you into this spot.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

3betting here isn't great, and your sizing makes it worse. You have A-hi preflop vs a raiser with a wide range AND you have position. Flat pre seems better.

As played, I don't love life but close my eyes and shove over because I think he takes this line with more of the lower end of his range, and checks his better stuff to you to cbet into.

Oh, and also because:

You'd probably be surprised how often people raise AK, AQ on the flop cuz lolbighandbetandprotectaments, but flat QQ or KK hoping the turn is checked and likely give up if it isn't. So it's entirely possible villain thinks your turn range is now underpairs and weak aces, and you're folding nearly everything to sufficient aggression.
