red_river is nit 17/14, stamos=fish

I do like this flop, I need to know where I'm at, does this guy lead sets/str8 etc or is it a donk bet with any J or a hand like 1010 and HE's unsure where he's at?

I don't see a point in betting a blank turn as by now i'd say he will fold hands like TJ,QJ, KJ etc, i have a better chance of getting another few bucks on the river against those hands with a smallish bet

obv I get a nice river, I don't think he'd be going for a checkraise here with set/str8 so how much do i want to bet and what am i hoping he'll be paying it off with?

raising the flop is terrible, call and see what he does

ok i see raising the flop is bad as I'm likely to only get action from set/str8 for stacks etc.

so i'm trying to get value here from any other J that isn't 2pr here correct? Once I call here, you say reevaluate the turn - what would my line be on the turn in this case? say the turn is a blank
a) he checks
b) he bets

you are both full stacked, I see nothing wrong with a raise here to see where you are at. Maybe make it 30 instead of 36 to keep pot smaller. He could just as easily be betting a draw or kj. checking turn I think is Good, keep pot small. now on river I think a bet is good here since a set or a hand that beats you would bet on the river especially with the A out to get another call from you. I say bet 1/2 to 3/4 pot here and fold to a re-raise. a set will re-raise, but j9 79 will definitely call. Jx will probably fold, but may call a 1/2 pot bet.

I would definitely call flop for reasons stated above and now I would overbet as played because this bet is at least as likely to get called by a thinking player as any other. You didnt bet a blank turn after raising the flop on a wet board, and now are overbetting a relatively blank river-this looks super inconsistent and he's not going to put you on a random ace with this betsizing nor will he put u on a flopped big hand because of the turn action.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.
