popmonster is a tag. I have been tag, but stealing blinds and cbetting pretty often, but I don't think I 2 barrelled at all here.

Sometimes I cbet a draw, get called, and hit the turn, and be unsure especially against decent tags or lags if continuing to bet strong to sort of rep a bluff is better than betting like 1/2 pot for value, assuming I don't have much history or extensive reads and they look kinda weak.
I'm starting to think just going 1/2 pot is better than a strong bet, and maybe mixing in a check every now and then.

What's your typical turn play here?

andy-akb is at seat 0 with $103.95.
Hero is at seat 1 with $136.80.
POPMONSTER is at seat 2 with $107.10.

Mays is at seat 3 with $87.
CallMeOwned is at seat 4 with $102.85.
pk9367 is at seat 5 with $82.65.
The button is at seat 1.

POPMONSTER posts the small blind of $.50.
Mays posts the big blind of $1.

Yeah I like this because you seem to be repping AJ or a weaker hand that's vunerable.

bump, cuz I had another hand like this. I know it's best to bet, I just haven't been sure on the size.

so last time I tried betting smaller. villain called both my turn and river bets, and showed down a LOWER FLUSH!!! ARRRG...

so I guess the point is a marginal hand (villain quickly folded in the OP btw) is not worth even thinking about (thx IowaSkinsFan for session review).

If he's TAG, as in this case, I'll bet the hand strongly, but if he's LAG, I'll sometimes let him bet my hand for me.
