My opponent is TAgg. Tries to play well, stupidest thing I've seen him do so far is use a CardRunners icon for his Avatar. We're both about $100 deep.

I really haven't gotten out of line. Considering leaving the table.

PokerStars 100NL 6 max.

I raise :As: :Ac: to $4 from UTG.
Opponent calls from the SB, rest fold.

$8 in the pot
Flop is :Js:

check, I bet $6, call

$20 in the pot
Turn is :Qs:

He bets $8, I call

$36 in the pot
River is :Tc:

He bets $32, I fold

I feel like saying raise turn but I can't reall put him on a hand which the turn card gives him a decent draw. He has to have a T for the turn to give him an OESD, but if we put him on a naked draw then we should call the river. Actually 9T would do it.

I think his turn bet wan't to get raised because he just improved to 2pr.

Folding the turn wouldn't be too bad perhaps.

I raise huge on the turn every time here. He's so likely to have one pair of queens and a straight draw. Since he has a dog hard to release, I punch his odds out. The river beats you, but that's beside the point.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

yea your right, QT is a reasonable holding that we should raise too.

So thats 9Ts, JTs, QT are the hands he could have that mean we should raise the turn.

Is he likely to cause with these hands pf? I'm not convinced.

I can't really put him on a hand. A Tag doesn't call OOP with JT/KJ/QJ type of hands.. KQs could play this way maybe.

The turn is a pretty clear blocking bet or he was fishing for a raise.

He was aggro enough I guessed that I would draw a river bet from pretty much anything, so my plan was to let him airball the river. Pot wasn't that big and this really wasn't the spot + player I wanted to play a big pot with.

Meh, I'm probably too showdown oriented sometimes...

Ya, you might be better served protecting your hand, and possibly forcing the opponent into a big odds mistake on the turn. I save my bluff snaps for friendlier pastures. Right now I want my opponent excited with the worst hand on the turn, and paying a big price to find the light.

pf/flop/river all seem standard enough.

I'm not sure whether I want to call or raise this turn, but I'm leaning towards raising it. Although, I hate raising it to just 20. That's only a 1/3 pot raise and the board is getting pretty scary. I think I'm good here, but awkward stack sizes are the only thing that's making me reconsider.

Fnord, river a red 3 next time for god's sake...

ha, One of the regs in the 2/4 game (gambler2k4) also has this as his avatar. He's giving away information to players in the game that they don't need to know. He seems to be a winner, but he isn't one of the regulars that have ever given me trouble. And there have been a few that do.

Speaking of CR, does anybody have a subscription to that site? I did for a while, but to be honest, I stopped watching them for so long and forgot about it, then I got an email saying my subscription had been cancled since my old debit card expired and I got a new one (I was on auto-pay). Have they released any new videos? I'd like to watch some very high stakes games for the entertainment value, not necessarily the learning value. I can play better NL ring then I've seen in some of their videos.
