Villian is 14/5 over 98 hands, which is why I played this so cautiously.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($49.35)
MP ($298.80)
Hero ($132.50)
SB ($109.35)
BB ($125.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, A.
2 folds, Hero raises to $4, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($12) 3, Q, 4 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $10, SB raises to $20, BB folds, Hero calls $10.

Turn: ($52) 3 (2 players)
SB bets $14, Hero calls $14.

River: ($80) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ????

Preflop rules out KK/QQ. Flop narrows his range to AQ, 333, 444, and maybe KQ if he's paying attention to me grabbing lots of pots in position.

Is he getting tricky here, or can I vbet his AQ?

What do you think his range is after the check/minraise?

This would be the worst played set on the turn evah. I wouldn't rule out a nit flat calling with QQ though (preflop). I think he has a weak Q, 77-TT, or 56 suited (stats be damned)

I like gabes river bet, but crap my pants if he pushes.

1/2 pot good here. Worse hands call, better ones check-raise.

A min raise on the flop with a pitiful bet on the turn. Not much conviction behind those two moves. having bet 14 in a 52$ pot kind of defines his hand. He went to trying to be stong on the flop to a "oh crap he called me" bet on the turn to "I give up on the river".

Now would it of been better to have raised him on the turn to possibly have him fold?
