Villain is running at 18/4/2.2 over 300+ hands.

The villain has check raised me on the flop twice in the last 20 hands when i have raised pre flop and then C-bet. Unfortunately on these occasions I had nothing and no reads so I had to fold and he didn't show.

I also saw him check raise another player who called but the Villain put another bet in on the turn and the other guy folded. I don't know whether he is doing this with draws, air or a monster.

What else coud I do here? The only 8 I could put him on was A8s or 88 but I thought he could have called my raise 99-AA Ak pos AQ and I thought he would ck raise me with most of the pairs and maybe even A-high considering he has check raised 3 times I thought it was possible.

Anyway what do you guys think?

Thanks

Just call.

Edit: Oops. I didn't see it was multiway. I would probably lean towards folding.

bad spot

In a HU pot I'd be much more inclined to call and let him spew chips my way

With all of the ppl in the pot, chances that villain is bluffing go way down usually. He probably has 8x or 66
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Even considering how tight the guy is pre flop? 66 I can see, but 8x? I am surprised that people would lay down an overpair in this spot considering he has a reputation for check raising suspected c-bets and he has a pretty tight pre flop range.

Thanks for your comments. I must learn to play my overpairs better.

If it was HU I'd definitely agree with you.

4-way you rarely see ppl - even aggressive players - bluff raise 2 ppl.

Yeah thats a really good point. I guess the amount of people in the hand and how that would affect Villains range kindof escaped me.

Thanks
