Default A2s 4-bet of Squeeze gets flatted.

Sup Guys. How are you all doing? Just graduated and using my newly found free time to make a return to grinding. Trying to shake off the rust

Posted this on 2+2, as I figured it's the only place these days with good traffic, but I see there are still some of the old crew posting here which is awesome to see. Got advised to move down in stakes for not knowing I should insta-call turn lol, some things never change. Think this is an interesting spot to hero fold in though so interested what you guys think.

At the time of the hand I was fairly readless on villain. He looks nitty from this sample, I remember he's a reg I used to play with a bunch but don't remember too much about his game other than him being fond of 3-betting. BU seems like a pretty stationy fish, I'd think BB can be squeezing pretty wide here as an iso/for value and likely has a bunch of broadway type stuff as well as his normal value range.

Preflop: I think the 4-bet is okay with a blocker and a hand that can handle seeing a flop in position if we get flatted.

Flop: Checking seems to be the only line that makes sense.

Turn: Okay so how wide is he flatting this 4-bet, I have no reason to think he's getting too funky preflop. His range before this turn bet might be something like [TT-AA AJs KQs AQ+] too tight?? After he bets the turn like this I think we can get rid of TT-KK. At the time I thought his range was good top pairs, some nuts and then some air, but now I realise that unless we give him a wider range preflop, he just can't have all that much air here. Thoughts

Whoever said insta call turn is correct

If I'm 4b this hand and hitting top pair, I'm not folding post-flop. If I know he's capable of flatting 4b going forward I'll adjust my 4b range vs him to be more balanced.

This is moar for my bennifits; what are you doing with JJ+ here pre and post our TP no kicker seems much the same at this point if you would play them the same pre and flop surely yr smash at the top of yr range now. Unless you love a good olde slow play which may or may not be good I don't know. Ill stay tuned! if you really think villain only calls yr 4b with that tight a range villain should Chk river with anything you beat right? And bet 4 combos of KQs and all hands that beat JJ-Arag which seems like we get super owned if we call. Mlehh I'm lost in my own thoughts lol drunkard

Why not cbet in that flop? That´s more easier to put the villain in one hand. Now probably he make 2 barrels in turn in case you call and river and you don´t know exactly where you are. As played i think fold is better
