Preflop I think is kind of bad-- you are calling out of position when he's 3bettng a huge % of hands, and you're in a clear squeezing spot. I think 4bet/calling or backshoving is better than calling out of position.

so we can get him to play perfectly against our range - should have added this in there.

im 2900 hands in but i'm feeling fatigued so it's time for break #1. gonna eat, go for a run, and come back fresh in 2 hours. I don't feel particularly pleased with how I've played so far. A couple marginal calldowns and getting pwned deep OOP by the manic 3bettor from the AQ hand are the most glaring problems.

down 3.5BI

@ lefty: i had the same hand both times I 3bet you

@ DG: here's some ugly ones

1. I mean he's never bluff raising the river. I'm sure there was some poor betsizing here

Hero bets $1.50, MP calls $1.50, 2 folds, SB calls $1.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($5) 10, 4, 3 (3 players)

Total pot: $107.10 | Rake: $3

Results:
Hero had 6, 5 (flush, ten high).
MP had Q, J (flush, Queen high).
Outcome: MP won $104.10

2. What can I do differently here? limper is a typical donk

3. No reads.. 23/20 with 40% cbet. I'm possibly beating QJ on the turn so I call. On the river his betsizing really polarizes his range to KK+ so I put on the stationmaster hat and callll

this is hard work. 6.2k hands in, down about 7BI. I feel much better about my play in the second round than the first. going to take break #2 now, come back in an hour or so. the tables are good and i've still got energy to do this.

notables:

JJ<KK, then JJ<KK versus same opp an hour later!
KK>AA (suckout for me)

getting pwned by fish AI multiple times.

I had to stop at 8.4k hands because i realized i was down 12 buy ins. I'll have a better look over my hands tomorrow but i felt i played well in my big pots. Obviously a pretty disappointing day lol

Haven't read them all, but in the very first hand your river sizing is fairly bad. If he's a donk like you say, we should just be near potting this river and expect him to call nearly always with all Ax, and still stick the rest in with flushes anyway.

I'd also bet the flop harder for sure to give us an easier job of getting stacks in.
