Fold without reads. Top pair on the flop now has you beat, and a 6 has you beat, and those are the two main hands he's repping. A set that turned into a boat maybe, too. I honestly have a hard time figuring out many hands that make sense with this board and his line that you are ahead of, unless he's just a total mouthbreather. And since you don't have a read that says he is... fold.

I'm not Fnord but I'll take a stab - this is a very probable way ahead/way behind situation. He might have one pair, in which case he's drawing very thin; but he could very easily have two pair or a straight, in which case YOU'RE drawing very thin. Calling that bet and making a river decision depending how much he bets there is probably a good course of action.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ what he said.

Yeah, I love raising these bets, but in this spot I'm just glad not to be playing for stacks.

Do you have any reads on his donk leading range for the flop?

Flop raise is fine though I feel like players often either have air that they will fold, or are pretty strong.

    I don't mind a flop call really.

I really don't get the turn raise at all. At this point you should be looking to pot control and get to showdown. Flat his turn lead for sure. On this river, there is like nothing you beat now, and all 8's even beat you now.

Of all the hands that might lead this flop and potentially play their hand this way (45,56,67,78,68,8x,44,55,88,TT+) you're only ahead of 45 now!
