DeepMindz is a slightly aggressive TAGish regular, but probably thinks i'm pretty spewy since he felted 88 for stacks preflop against me in a previous session. I have a note that says he plays medium strength hands passively in 3bet pots. I don't think he respects my play.
In retrospect i don't like my cbet on this board as it definitely connects with a lot of his range and i have essentially no equity against his calling range. Once i cbet and got called my plan was to bet/fold most turns. Facing basically a min raise on the turn, i concluded his range contained mostly draws or bluffs and shoved. Thought process good?

This just seems really bad unless you're withholding some info about him. Do you think he raises FD's on the flop? Does he raise T9? Does the bet size say anything to you?
This just looks like 66 or 86 to me.

Pre-flop is kinda spewy against a guy who's felting 88.
Flop bet is meh. Sometimes I bet, sometimes I surrender, once in a while I check/bomb.
Your turn bet looks weak ass and you're going to get raised a lot.
I'd rather check the turn with the option of shipping it.

thx guys
so my interpretation of what his raise size meant was wrong
actually lost the hand to 99, to my surprise. he timed down a lot before calling too so i think he was pretty lost on this hand too.
my turn betsize seems bad given the drawiness of the board texture. Maybe this is a board type where i'd benefit from making the hand play two streets when possible (pot flop/shove turn).

The 88 hand should have tipped you off to this. He's not a folder.
