villain is tight 14/12/3.7 but I've also been pretty aggressive against him

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($75.85)
MP ($112.10)
CO ($45.70)
Button ($50)
Hero (SB) ($54.30)
BB ($51.10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4, 4
1 fold, MP bets $1.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($3.50) 4, 9, Q (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $3, Hero raises to $8.50, MP calls $5.50

Turn: ($20.50) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $12, MP calls $12

River: ($44.50) 10 (2 players)
Hero checks,

I thought this river was awful because hes never calling a shove with AA/KK/AQ, and he already has me owned with QQ T9

Id bet turn a bit more to make things easier on river.

QQ/99 seems highly unlikely with his line, not sure if he doesnt even open T9s in MP so you´re ahead like 98% or so? Id just shove as I dont expect him to value shove anything worse himself and cant imagine any bluff he might be holding by now (he doesnt peel AK/AJ on flop, does he?)

K i understand my bet sizes need to be smarter, but as played what do you think hes calling/raising that I beat?

I feel like checking could induce him to bet a much wider range than he would call with.

Also why is qq an unlikely hand he could have here with this line? I'm also noticing a lot of the reg tags at nl50 opening up mp and even ep with scs and a2-5 regularly now

This is the perfect turn card for you to bet harder. It cuts down on a ton of hands your flop raise is trying to rep, and he won't expect you to pound a turned boat so hard.

As for the river, I don't get it. You have less than a PSB left, and you have a boat. Anything other than jamming here is way over-thinking.

Do you really think that he's just snap folding AQ-AA?

this so much.

When your hand is as strong as it is here on this board you should be sizing your bets so you can get as much money in as possible while still maximizing value.

He can have so much stuff he's never folding so you should be stacking him here. I also strongly disagree that he's folding AQ or an overpair. 109 is also pretty unlikely imo since he probably doesn't even open it. I'm sorry if he had QQ or 99 that's a cooler.

thanks for the responses. From my other posts it seems like most feel im over thinking some spots and have few sizing issues. It probably stems from not forming accurate ranges or knowing how to play in accordance...

so i c/c his shove and lost to 9Ts w/e but heres another spot giving me trouble

v is 17/16/3 standard, sb is 3betting maniac 40/25

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) ($101.50)
UTG ($50.75)
MP ($122.15)
Button ($7.25)
SB ($50.70)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, 10
1 fold, MP bets $2, 1 fold, SB raises to $5, Hero calls $4.50, MP calls $3

Flop: ($15) 10, J, 2 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, MP raises to $24, 1 fold, Hero ?? calls/jams non club turn?

I know he can have 22/JJ sometimes and crap like 45s 67s 78s 89s, but if hes doing this with TJs and KcQx or AcKx QcQx how do I play against that. Playing deep doesnt help...

wtf are you guys talking about betting bigger on turn. 12 is like the perfect amount and leaves only 2/3 pot. river is a very easy shove, you are overthinking the situation. when he has QQ you lose your money, most of the time he has AQ-AA and sometimes makes the wrong decision.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.
