I have just started playing cash games in the past two weeks and I think QQ has been the most difficult hand for me to play by far. Here is yet another one. I have played maybe 100-200 hands with villain and he seems taggish bordering on nitty. My image is tagg.

Bodog BB is $.50

Hero is CO ($140)
Villain is SB ($70)

Preflop: Dealt to Hero QsQd
1 fold, MP raises to $1, Hero reraises to $3, 1 fold, SB raises to $9.75, 2 folds, Hero calls $6.75

Flop ($21.50): Jd 8c 7h
SB bets $15, Hero??

Please also weigh in on preflop because I think I am playing QQ wrong preflop in general when facing 3 bets & 4 bets.

OK since no one replied yet here are my thoughts. Villain is not 4betting me cold w/out TT+, AK so on the flop I am pretty much dead vs JJ, KK, & AA but good vs TT and AK. I really have no idea where I am in the hand because I am sure he cbets his entire range on this flop. So as played I lean toward folding the flop.

I am wondering if there is any merit to playing differently preflop.

Probably just fold. I don't think anybody at 50nl has a cold 4 betting range as wide as you mentioned. I'd also likely fold pre if you say he's nitty.

ty for the feedback. When you say fold pre it brings up another question for me. What implied odds do you need pf to call in spots like this, or if you get 3bet for that matter?

I make it 4 rather than 3 but as for thr real decision, folding to the 4 bet is probably best but the call is fine. As for the flop i think a fold is in need. I just find it highly unlikely that he would be Cbetting with something like AK or 1010 let alone 4 bet with them pre.

By the way, what name do you play on on bodog? I, too have been playing a lot of 50nl there.

If he's nitty just fold preflop. All you're doing by flatting with QQ is allowing AK to get off the hook when it misses, and you're still fearing AA-KK. And you have no where near enough odds to set mine.

If he does 4-bet AK every time here as well as AA-KK then get it in preflop and feel really good about it.
