Villain and I have been playing for like 400-500ish hands. He's somewhat passive but capable of bluff raising, 3b bluffing and making huge thin value bets. He is probably a winning 50nl reg but has obvious leaks. I think I am up about 2 BI on him at this point in time but he has no obvious tilty tendencies.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (2 handed)
Hero (SB) ($159.90)
Button ($67.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
Button raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $5, Button calls $3.50

Flop: ($10) A, A, 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50

Turn: ($21) 3 (2 players)
Hero facepalms for turning his hand face up on the flop

meeloche is on a distinguished road
Yeah I like betting the flop so much more for the reason that he's going to peel you so light plus you can pot control the turn much better.

Since you played it this way I'm checking the turn and wondering what his timing was on his turn bet?
