Hi guys,
I would like see what you guys think about these hands. How would you have played?

1st hand

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

Hero (SB): $49.75
BB: $27.85
UTG: $88.20
MP: $56.90
CO: $80.65
BTN: $37.45

Pre-Flop: T T dealt to Hero (SB)
3 folds, Hero raises to $1.75, BB folds, UTG raises to $4.50, Hero raises to $13.50, UTG calls $9

Flop: ($27.25) T 9 2 (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $20, UTG folds

Results: $27.25 Pot ($1.35 Rake)
Hero mucked T T and WON $25.90 (+$12.40 NET)

How bad is this? I lost so much value from my top set on this dry ass flop..I thought if I was gonna win big money, it was from betting the flop..but still kinda bad..

2nd hand

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players

CO: $90.60
BTN: $10.65
SB: $48.15
Hero (BB): $52.65
UTG: $58.85

Pre-Flop: J Q dealt to Hero (BB)
3 folds, SB raises to $2, Hero calls $1.50

Flop: ($4) 5 J 2 (2 Players)
SB bets $2.50, Hero raises to $7.50, SB calls $5

Turn: ($19) 4 (2 Players)
SB bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50

River: ($24) 7 (2 Players)
SB bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50

Results: $31 Pot ($1.45 Rake)
SB showed 8 8 (a pair of Eights) and LOST (-$15.50 NET)
Hero showed J Q (a pair of Jacks) and WON $29.55 (+$14.05 NET)

Again, I believe I lost value here..The villain was unknown tho..I know that he has to be a fish looking at his bet sizes, but still..obvious raise on the turn with a fishy like this? by raising I can scare him off tho..did i lose value here on an unknown? or was it good to cold call so that he can bet again on the river?

3rd hand

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

Hero (UTG): $51.25
MP: $62.85
CO: $51.75
BTN: $51.80
SB: $17
BB: $50

Pre-Flop: Q A dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $1.75, 3 folds, SB calls $1.50, BB folds

Flop: ($4) K 2 5 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls $3

Turn: ($10) Q (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB calls $7

River: ($24) 7 (2 Players)
SB bets $5.25 and is All-In, Hero calls $5.25

Results: $34.50 Pot ($1.65 Rake)
Hero mucked Q A and LOST (-$17 NET)
SB showed K T (a pair of Kings) and WON $32.85 (+$15.85 NET)

Kinda lost here guys..Could I have lost less here? Villain unknown..Should I have checked behind on the turn? on the river had to call although i was quite sure i was beat..

4th hand

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players

Hero (UTG): $59.65
CO: $55.85
BTN: $57.50
SB: $50.25
BB: $51.25

Pre-Flop: J J dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $1.75, CO folds, BTN calls $1.75, SB calls $1.50, BB raises to $9, Hero raises to $32, 3 folds

Results: $21.50 Pot
Hero mucked J J and WON $21.50 (+$12.50 NET)

Villain is a thinking player and although he hasn't squeezed before, he has 3 bet a lot and tries to steal blinds almost everytime..Is this play almost always correct?

5th hand

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players

Hero (BB): $72.15
UTG: $47.35
CO: $62.65
BTN: $52.50
SB: $49.50

Pre-Flop: 8 8 dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG raises to $2, 3 folds, Hero calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) J 9 Q (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $3, Hero calls $3

Turn: ($10.25) A (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $6, Hero folds

Results: $10.25 Pot ($0.50 Rake)
UTG mucked and WON $9.75 (+$4.75 NET)

Villain is quite aggressive and I reaaaally wanted to 3bet here cause I knew even his UTG range was very wide...decided to call cause didn't wanna get 4betted or shoved..obviously called the flop for my straight flush..lol
this line is extremely weak right? how often you guys fold here? or 3bet?
on the flop..c/f? bet to see where you at?

thanks so much guys..would love to hear your opinions

ummm, im not gonna comment on each hand individually, but a few tips i would suggest are ...

dont ever worry about missing value at 50nl. just keep value betting, they will call, i promise. if u start trying to get tricky, you'll start out-thinking yourself and get yourself in some sick spots, probably losing money.

i like how aggressive you played in general, and think you played most of the hands decent. AQ i play the same way, i probably don't 4bet as much as you are, but if its working for u, its good to keep your range wide, so continue to do it if its showing a profit. dont worry too much about sizing, just think about what types of hands are in villains range, and what size bet he would be willing to call w/ the majority of those hands.

1. As Marshall says no need to get tricky in these spots. You are not going to get paid all the time. Build that pot beginning with the flop and what happens happens.
2. I struggle with fish like this all the time and play in a similar way at times. Once a hand gets to showdown like that I make sure that I am taking good notes on these players and then play them accordingly.
3. Would put shortstack all-in on turn.
4. I sometimes call here as I have position and sometimes 4-bet as played.
5. I hate this flop. I fold to cb.

1) something is wrong with the HH i think. it says its folded to you in the SB, yet UTG 3 bets? if you are OTB and its the BB 3betting you, then i like calling here in position because TT is shit vs villains OOP 4bet calling range. after you get to the flop and spike the nuts you have to bet strong because his range is skewed towards JJ+/AK with QQ+ being the most likely so your getting paid. stats on this villain would be nice, but im guessing he was a donk or something.

2) i dont really like raising the flop here that much, and i might just take a passiveish line on a dry board like this. i would rather raise the turn here than the flop.

3) meh. fine.

4) i dont really know what to do here. villain is showing alot of strength vs and UTG raise and 2 callers. idk really.

5) c/f flop.
