Villain is is a 70/5/3.8 over 110 hands. Me and him have been battling vs. each other a lot obv. with me isolating the shit out of him. I had probably raised the past 4 hands or so and imo I thought he'd get fed up at some point, and it looked like now was the time (bad thought process?). Anyways, the turn card helps me, amirite? Definitely skews his hand range to more bluffs/Jx/underpairs? I just call turn because I think he has 5 outs at best and I thought I'd be able to get it allin easier on the river by just calling and allowing him to shove his complete range regardless of river card.

interesting post title. im not sure why you dont shove the turn when it's like 20 more into a pot of 93, seems very silly.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Just ship turn. His turn bet is weak ass, and there are enough draws that people will call with here, especially a fish.

As played, I'm not sure that river was good for you. I'd bet he has a fishy AQ a decent amount here.

Thanks for the replies. Changed the title. I tried to explain why I didn't shove turn because I thought there was some chance he'd fold as opposed to getting it in no matter what on any river.

griff - completely agree about the A being a horrible card but I felt like he could have something worse here often enough to call.

I think his betting range is much wider when we play more passively.

True. Which is why I figured he'd 3 barrel more than he'd get it in on this flop. Like he has a much better chance of 3barrel bluffing A5 (any air) than getting it in if I raise. Sure he'll stack off lighter on the flop but I don't think it's light enough. Just my thoughts.

I guess I just figure he'll stack of really light on that flop. Any J, a bunch of PPs, stuff like that. He expects us to be bluffing a lot and...well this guys thought process probably doesnt go far beyond that.
Just playing to improve.
