BB is 54/24/3 over tiny 26 hand sample. No other reads or history yet.

I thought my flop bet size would take the hand down as often as a larger bet would, and if not felt I'd at worse be heads up on turn and there is plenty of time to get money in the middle. At least that was my thinking, and then I chickened out when the board paired.

I'm guessing I have to bet this turn? and depending on opponents play bet river?

Just seems like weak sauce by me, but this time I just did not feel like playing a big pot.

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($62.95)
BB ($57.05)
Hero (UTG) ($101.15)
MP ($39.85)
CO ($171.25)
Button ($27.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, A
Hero bets $1.75, MP calls $1.75, 2 folds, SB calls $1.50, BB calls $1.25

Flop: ($7) Q, 6, 9 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $4.50, 2 folds, BB calls $4.50

Turn: ($16) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($16) 7 (2 players)

Total pot: $31

griffey24 is on a distinguished road
Yah not to beat a dead horse here.. but this is in no way a scary turn.

Against most people, the order of scary turns on this board is probably

Q, K, 8, 9 and then probably even other two pair resulting cards like J or T and THEN 6.

Then bet bigger since you have AA and you don't want to take the hand down.
