I usually 3 bet a little more.
Standard? Should I check turn here for pot control? Bet sizing ok?

3bet a little bigger to at least $6, unless you are 3betting more than ~7%.
Absent reads, the rest is fine. < 130bb deep I bet, bet, bet till it is all in the middle.

what zook said. start out with a 6 dollar bet and go from there on this type of board texture

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

One of those tricky situations on the turn. I don't like getting pot committed with a one pair hand. If you are going all the way with your hand regardless, then yes you may as well get your chips in the middle as soon as Possible
I would be interested to see what he had.

Nuts/Zook, what's so special about this flop that makes close to 1/2 pot > 2/3 or 3/4pot?
I agree 3/4 is a little big for 3bet pots in general. But I imagine any K/J/QQ and maybe some gutshots call a 2/3 as much as a 1/2 psb here and it still sets us up for an easy river shove of about 1/2 pot.

You're welcome. next time try explaining your reasoning with tangible arguments rather then vague and meaningless generalities since this is an educational forum. We want to do whatever will get villain to put in the most money with the weakest range of hands, not shovel all our money in the pot to make it less likely he hits a 5 outer or something while drawing with incorrect pot odds.

It is an educational forum, and some people are obviously much better at poker than others. Even if my post was a little vague, and didn't make the point I was actually trying to make very well, it certainly made more of an attempt than "No"
I realise that you are probably a very good player, and I am here to learn. I am more than happy to have my posts pulled apart, I just prefer to know why. So thanks for the reply (no sarcasm)
