Ok, so that's what I did. He called, at the time I thought my river bet was a little too small.
Looking back at the hand later, I reckon I should have bet 25 on the turn and shoved river?
yay/nay?
Should I give up on the river since it's likely he has some aq/ak/kq type of hand?
I guess I should add in some reads or something , yeah I'm running at 19/14/1.8 or something close to that, haven't got out of line, certainly haven't been caught. He's too loose pf, but doesn't appear to be a total moron, i.e. should be able to lay down a hand here.

I kind of want to raise the flop. Yeah, it will fold his bluffs, but he certainly has 2 overs, maybe hearts...
Not sure the turn bet size matters too much - when he calls it he has some kind of hand. Maybe the naked Ah! I would expect him to raise with AQ/AK and Ah but maybe he really thinks you have the flush (or will bluff again on the river).
I agree, if you are going to bluff this river, you have to bet pretty big.

betting 25 on the turn leaves me with a nice pot/stack size for shoving.
