I'd like to get any thoughts on my most recent 4k hands. I know this is a minute sample; but its all I have to go on at the moment.Since I dont know much about the software (POkerOffice) I'd be grateful for having any obvious 'leaks' pointed out.

Thanks

play more hands, your limping in preflop with too many hands, raise more preflop, you need to also cbet a bit more when your the preflop raiser.

play more hands...i do 4k hands in a day sometimes.

continuation bet...like for example your holding AQs On the button, its folded to you, you raise 4xbb to $1, sb folds, bb calls...flop comes Tc, 8d, 2c, BB checks, and you bet $1.5 - thats a cbet.

I also play 25NL 6-max. The stat that stood out for me is your vol. $ in pot, it's 35, mine is 25. You're pretty loose for my taste, but is seems to be working for you. Your winrate, 10BB/100, is good.

The sample size is small though, so you could be running hot. Should your winrate drop, thightening up a bit preflop wouldn't hurt.

Play more hands...

Thanks, thats valuable info - much appreciated.
By the way, which stat on PokerOffice shows my lack of c-betting?
I'll keep an eye on that

Could you define BB/100 - I dont quite understand.....and as a rule of thumb, what BB/100 is a good measure of success (what should I be aiming for) ?

Winrate is usually measured in Big Bets won per 100 hands played(BB/100). A Big Bet is two Big Blinds (a Big Bet in 25NL is 0.50$). Basicly anything above zero, means you are a winning player.

Anything above 8 BB/100 is very good i've heard, so 10 BB/100 is very respectable. Your aim should be to keep it that high, get rolled for 50NL and try to maintain a decent winrate there. Repeat. The higher the level, the harder it is to maintain a decent winrate.

Your preflop aggression is WAY low...I'd aim for staying between 15 and 20%. Your VP$IP is way high--I'd aim for max 28% unless everyone is crazy passive, in which case I guess 30% is ok...
Then again, I've never played 25nl...lol

I think you are playing way too many hands. If you are going to play that many, you need to be raising a lot more than 10%. Try to tighten up your limping quite a bit and work on being more aggressive preflop. Also, your Att. To Steal Blinds is fairly low and I would work on getting that up around 30%. At the lower stakes though I dont hate having a low steal percentage simply because often time we have blinds that simply call way too often and dont fold enough postflop to make the play profitable.
