PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($1153.60)
Hero (UTG) ($406)
MP ($444.60)
CO ($418)
Button ($403.50)
SB ($337.80)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q
Hero bets $12, MP raises to $40, 2 folds, SB calls $38, 1 fold, Hero calls $28

Flop: ($124) J, 9, 4 (3 players)

Pre:
No history with either player, as I don't play a lot of 2/4. Only 20 hands so stats meaningless. MP is unknown but no alarm bells on whether he's good, and def doesn't seem fishy.

SB is a huge fish, so I don't like 4betting because I'll probably just get it in with MP and the real edge is obviously with SB. Anyone in the 4bet camp here? MP's range is probably even tighter given I'm UTG.

Post:

Leading out seems like the best option.

I don't want a free card for fishy (and MP in case he has AK), and I can't see MP raising me without KK/AA or a set (Even then he might flat with the fishy)

You can lead out half pot, prob fold vs MP, and get it in vs fishy

I wish we had stats on MP. Part of me wants to 4bet pre, potentially fold out MP and have fish get it in... hmm. I mean its just a matter of how often MP folds, cause I think the fish def isn't folding if MP does.

I 4 bet this pre the vast majority of the time given the information we have.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Just cuz SB is a fish doesnt mean he wont wake up with a hand here. If SB check/calls/raises then we may have to give up or play smallball. Either way I'm checking to MP and let him fire at it. If SB folds then I'd ship it.

Thats pretty terrible advice. SB could turn up with a hand here, but we play against his whole range, not just the scary monsters under the bed part of it.
Just playing to improve.
