i think you're repping mostly hands like KQ/QJ, some under pairs like 77-99.
it's a bad spot for him to bluff this turn i think.
he could have A4dd but that checks the turn here..
he can have some 56/67/68s and some Axhh hands
i suppose a specific read on villain is most important here. does he bluff this type of turn on a draw or does he take a free river, and have you seen him overbet as a bluff ever?

I don't think I would fold given your perceived range but then again, I don't play this level and it's easy to tell someone to make a hero call.
I think it's only a bad spot for him to bluff the turn if he doesn't follow through with a 3rd barrel, though the river doesn't seem to be the best to fire a 3rd barrel since he's got an even lesser chance of having a boat now - any comments on this thought?

Not sure about his std bet sizes but these don't look like a 6 trying to get value. Your hand is exactly what it looks like (Qx) and this is not a river VB. This is a "No way he can call" bet.

I'd fold now, I just don't see how you can approach these situations in any other way than playing really nitty until you get a read on how he thinks in spots like this.

No don't lead turn, I would never try and take back the initiative here. I would likely play it the same and I guess fold the river. He's just not bluffing enough imo.
As for a flop line I'd rank it as c/c >> c/r >>>> lead. I don't know if you c/r enough or he thinks you c/r enough to c/r AQ here.

The 6 is a turn thats extremely likely to go check check, as I believe villain will shut down on bluffs and pot control tons of worse hands, so I'm going to tend to lead with most of the stronger hands in my range, and some bluffs.

Well a flush draw turned so its not gonna go check check as much as another 6. The problem with leading the turn is your repping a hand that you don't have because once he sees you lead the turn he's likely going to instantly stop bluffing and probably call all his qx and fold river where as before he'd go bet bet with those. He's also going to put you in a terrible spot when he has 6x on the turn or the river. Basically c/c c/c lets you win the most because it keeps more hands that you beat in his betting range than if you lead turn. Remember what your hand looks like when you c/c c/c compared to if you lead. He's could even convince himself to value bet the river with JJ or 1010 if you c/c where he'll fold those if you lead.

Oh and if the turn goes check check when you bet the river you're repping a much wider range as well which lets him hero call you pretty light especially if all the draws missed.
