Opp has been running like 38/14/3 over about 150 hands so no real reads. However, he has been 3-betting me and others a lot in position. I have seen him push AQ+ preflop in position.
I am not quite sure about my 4-bet raise size. This was the first time I have 4-bet him and I would check the flop with AQ/AK oop against this type of player all the time. I'm sure that he is a thinking player. Is this spew? Shall I b/fold turn? C/call-fold seams weak:

If you like to fourbet light sometimes, then you can use a non-commiting 4-bet size (something like $125). A small 4-bet induces 5-bet bluffs pretty often too.
Pretty awful spot. I would probably c/f every street. As played raising turn is bad. I don't think he will ever fold better or call with worse. If you want to go with the hand, then just call him down and let him continue bluffing.

I don't know...with history can we really c/f that under 1/2PSB? I'm inclined to c/c at least the turn.
How bad is c/c turn c/f river, opposed to c/f turn?

if you call him, he definitely won't bluff the river unless he is an idiot. so even if it is hard to fold river getting million to 1 odds, it is probably a c/c c/f. It is a small turn bet and I can imagine villain holding like QQ,JJ,TT here and buying a cheap showdown with that bet. Folding turn seems weak.
I don't know how 4betcallers think, so I can just assume. A sick spot.

Thanks for the replies. I agree with what P4 said and it would have been my advise if someone else would have played this hand. I convinced myself that he never has an Ax here and I was right. Unfortunately I had tilt blinkers on and I didn't even put him on Pocket 9's (that's what he had).
Just to go back to the 4-bet size. My plan was to raise enough so that I have a pot sized shove on a low board. Is that the wrong sort of thinking against an aggressive 3-bettor?

i just 4bet half of effective stacks if 100-150bb, u take it down a lot more and can do it as a bluff much more. (just dont forget to call if they 5bet)

Yeah most of the time i don't like 4-betting as a pure bluff (aka not planning to call a shove) unless i really have a feel for someone.

We're all kind of copping out on the post flop action. But it's tough, i think it's fine though.
