Villain is fairly new to the table but has been stealing like crazy so far (50%). Looks pretty TAGish 22/19 otherwise. Limper is a 46/0 fish who Villain will want to isolate alot. This is my first 3bet against him and I expect him to fold a tonne. Ive also had a total hand drought on this table and am running 9/9. I dont like calling multiway OOP with no idea of how often he will barrel.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($24.85)
Hero (BB) ($25.70)
UTG ($17.75)
MP ($25.35)
Button ($25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, J
UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, Button bets $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, Button calls $2

Flop: ($6.35) 8, 10, J (2 players)
Hero bets $4, Button calls $4

I figure against a relative unknown keeping it straight forward and cbet/folding is decent. I dont think many worse hands call this though.

Turn: ($14.35) K (2 players)
Hero..? ($18 behind)

Not a terrible turn card. If he calls the flop with AQ he probably calls with AK aswell. We're now ahead of AA/QQ and KK has become less likely. He can also have JJ, TT, maybe AJs, 88,99. Whats my play here? Close my eyes and shove? I think im about 50/50 against his range but I really dont know the best way to min/max.

Edit: Actually I should probably discount AA/KK a fair bit in his range since he didnt 4bet pre. Maybe im a bit better off than 40%. I dont think I can c/f when I beat so many of his value hands, and check/call seems pretty bad when he checks so many decent hands behind and doesnt bluff. ugh. halp
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

I would just jam this turn. You're b/c anyhow, and hands like QQ/QJ/KQ will have a hard time folding here.

I think you should discount AK though based on preflop and yah probably discount some AA/KK for sure.

I would just bet/call $10.His range is made up of a ton of pair plus str8 draw hands with the stronger of that group being qq, kq,qj etc. You're only really worried about aq in my mind as at this level villain will show you on the flop if he has sets.

I'd also make it $3.5 pre though that's fairly trivial.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.
