perfect board to triple barrell vs. some players. Can you give us reads on him? Would he flat QQ-AA at all pre in a BvB battle? Probably not.
I like $12 flop $24 turn shove river
most people as SB will have middle pairs 88-JJ or big cards, unless he plans a hero call or traps with KK+ OOP, id go for a triple
As played, I'd fold

id call it but wtf at checking back the flop. usually you don't want to represent a whiff with AK in a 3b pot when you actually jack high because what the fuck are you planning to do if he bets? if there are spots where you would like to multibarrel your missed hands in 3bet pots, this is one great opportunity for it because you can represent a lot of strength while sizing your first two barrels very small. Fortunately you got saved on the turn and his betsizing doesnt really look like he's trying to get called by ace high so id look him up.

I was going to c/f actually because I didn't think he would fold a pair
but I actually like the plan to fire three barrels
should the bet sizing be something like $12 into 24, 24 into 48, and shove the remainder for pot-ish on the river? (considering we don't improve)

he might not fold a pair to 1, 2, or 3 barrels depending on how big it is but preflop he's going to call 8$ more with a pretty wide range since you are 135 deep and he will never c/r bluff you in this spot with his misses but he will frequently take the pot from you with those hands when you check/give up. this is not a spot where you are up against a range even remotely strong enough to decide to just shut down.

Hmmm I'd say this is a really good board to triple as a bluff... I'd go 12, 24 and allin.
But if we bet flop, I might check back turn once we hit a piece and re-eval river.
