Pretty good board to cbet but is free card a better option? SB is a 45/3 station and CO is a 30/22 LAGG who has folded to my previous couple of 3bets of his PFR's.

Party Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

SB: $118.57
BB: $111.29
UTG: $100
CO: $130.69
Hero (BTN): $104.11

Pre-Flop: 7 9 dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG folds, CO raises to $4, Hero raises to $14, SB calls $13.50, BB folds, CO calls $10

Flop: ($43) 8 K 6 (3 Players)
SB checks, CO checks, Hero....?

Blah. I lean towards betting around half pot since we have position, initiative and the board seems pretty dry.

Yeah, A bet looks better since you have the draw the flop misses most of the CO's range. If the SB has a weak K you can easily price your draw since he's so passive and you have the trap-door flush. The only way you look like getting raised of your hand is if CO has a set.

I would bet $17 and hate myself if i got raised.

anybody have any thoughts on a delayed c-bet? If you did it I think you would have to commit to a double barrel all in? (unless sb is the one calling down)

You have the draw to the nuts. I would take the free card.
It really sucks to get check raised off your draw here.

Agreed, JL, which is why it sucks. But it seems like we can set a pretty small price that allows for FE as well as drawing to the nuts, not to mention a free turn card.

I definitely bet here, ~$26, cry and call if c/raised and shove a blank turn if called. A lot of underpairs in their ranges which might call one street but not stack off.

Agreed zook. Do you think it matters if like a 2 hits though on turn? Like I'm all for shoving a card that helps us/J+

KK+/AK are much more in our range than theirs so put the pressure on any turn imo.

this hand is quite interesting, i think if we bet here we have to follow through on turn like always. Just size it so u can shove turn. We wanna make him fold 99-QQ right. Then again he's the type of player to call QK, AK here so you can take a free card, and if it checks around to you on turn, you can bet turn and again, follow up with a river shove 100% of the time.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

Since SB is a station, I'm not too afraid of getting jammed on this flop, so I'd bet here, and barrel turn/river.

This sounds like a great idea.
