I want line checks.

1) He seems solid, 19/15 over 80 hands. He's 100% for continuation bets. Has seen me bet out a flopped boat and call it down on the turn and river.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($40.90)
UTG ($204.50)
MP ($34.10)
Hero ($117.55)
SB ($17.80)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6, A.
UTG raises to $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $2, 2 folds.

Flop: ($4.75) 3, 2, J (2 players)
UTG bets $2, Hero raises to $6, UTG raises to $10, Hero calls $4.

Turn: ($24.75) 2 (2 players)
UTG bets $9, Hero calls $9.

River: ($42.75) 7 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $25

2) No reads. Check/call better? Check/raise?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($53.45)
UTG ($32.35)
MP ($79.60)
CO ($25.80)
Button ($46.75)
SB ($83.10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3, A.
UTG calls $0.50, MP raises to $3, 3 folds, Hero calls $2.50, UTG calls $2.50.

Flop: ($9.25) 5, A, J (3 players)
Hero bets $6

3) No reads. I guess this is along the same lines as the last hand except I don't have a pair. Do you like betting OOP? Check/calling? Check/raising? As played, is it bad to call his flop raise?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($74.10)
BB ($47.50)
UTG ($99.65)
MP ($50)
CO ($58.05)
Button ($27.10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q.
UTG calls $0.50, MP raises to $1, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.75, BB calls $0.50, UTG calls $0.50.

Flop: ($4) 7, 6, 9 (4 players)
Hero bets $3, BB folds, UTG folds, MP raises to $15, Hero calls $12.

First hand, I guess it's ok if you think he is capable of going berzerk then just check-folding the river, but I doubt he does this very often, if nothing else just to avoid looking silly. I would save my money and check it down.

Second and third both look fine.

So in the first hand you're counting on him putting you on a boat? Nothing else makes sense here, apart from a softly played overpair and he may well beat that.

I can't imagine you win this very often unless, of course, his 3-bet on the flop was a bluff.

1) I fold pre-flop sometimes. You have to assume his UTG raise is a decently strong hand.

I don't care for the flop raise if you think he's solid. It's way small. You would raise bigger with a set or AJ if you're protecting the draw. If he's average often this raise will allow you to check behind the turn. If that was your goal then nice.

I'm also not convinced this bet works often enough on the river. However, I don't think it's a huge mistake.

2) Good, I'm happy getting it all-in on the flop, this is the best (only?) way

3) betting out is fine. With no read I fold to that raise. nut flush draw, but you can't count all your overcards outs. If he's a maniac I may push, maybe call.

I really hate the preflop call of number 2. And I usually try to enter pots as the agressor so number 3 is a raising hand with all those limpers.
