hand 1: fold turn. without a solid read, typically this means he's got at least K here.
hand 2: i bet the turn and river here...probably willing to go broke without a solid read.
hand 3: bah, no idea.

you're willing to go broke on hand 2? what?
i have AJ - it's not the nuts you know. i only beat a bluff if im willing to stack off here.
and there isn't rely much to say about hand 3. i'm the 1 betting and have 2p

for hand 3, i can't see a hand that you beat would call. but then again, your overbet does induce heroic calls.
as for AJ, no, it's not the nuts, but it's pretty damn close on this board. also, betting the turn makes it easier to know where you stand. by checking, you let the villain price out the hand. if you bet, and they push, you can consider stacking off or folding, which is very read dependent.
you say villain has been "calling a lot of your bets." what does that mean anyway?

I think Hands 1 and 2 are played well. Hand 3 is interesting. Idk if i like a shove on the river since he probably only calls if he had A-J/J-9/K-10/Q-10, and folds all missed draws. I am inclined to disregard your note that he seems to call a lot of your bets since he probably knows you are being much more active on the flop than you would be on the turn/river. Plus you have fired 3 streets OOP - doesn't look like a bluff to me. I think he might dump TPTK/two pair hands unless you triple barrel bluff with some frequency OOP. So, i guess i check the river on hand three, prepared to call a shove.
I think you ought to rebuy to the max at your tables all the time. Playing with <max buy-in is -EV if you are better than your opponents.

when i say that he is calling a lot of my bets, i mean that everytime i'm raising his BB from SB he's calling. when i cbet. he's calling. etc.
he might always have legit hands and we didn't see enough showdowns for me to know, but more likely than not - he's calling me with worse than average hands.
also, i very rarely don't rebuy to the max. i didn't rebuy here because i'm new to $400NL. usually i do rebuy (even at $400NL). it was just a one off thing.
i think i do get a call from TP hands on the river push in hand 3. also, i'm getting my chips allin if he has me beat anyway on the river so i might as well push to give him a decision with TP type hands. none of my bets are overbets btw.
the value i do gain by checking the river is that if he is holding a T, he might be tempted to bluff the river if i check. i felt that i gained more from betting than checking and hoping for a bluff though.
if i check the river i think he checks behind 2p.
the only hands that can beat me are a straight, a bd flush and a set. i doubt he has them and am willing to go broke here if he does.

hand 1, I would fold turn, maybe even flop if I know my opponent is tight.
hand 2 - I definitely don't go broke with just top pair, what are you beating in that case?? But I probably lead turn, checking turn and river lets too many weaker hands potentially push you out or see free cards. Because it's threehanded, I think he may stick around with weaker aces or a pair. This is just one of those frustrating hands as it turned out.
hand 3- river disaster. you will only be called by better hands and you lose value from weaker hands. I bet 1/2 pot, something that villain has trouble not calling if they have top pair.
