100NL on UB.
I am in CO w/ TT. Villain is Button and has 100BB. I have him covered.
I havent really been out of line here lately. I have been moderately aggressive preflop. Villain has done nothing of note yet at the table.
folds to me, I raise to $3.50, villain thinks and then reraises to $14, which is larger than a PSB which is the usual reraise that I face at UB. That or the min reraise. Because of the odd bet sizing I assume villain has some sort of A or is making a steal attempt. I am leaning more towards some sort of steal because the reraise is larger than normal, so I call.
Flop : Q22, with 2 hearts. I assume I am ahead, and so I go for the CR.
villain bets $22, I reraise him AI (86.60 more).

This is really bad.
First off when someone raises more than usual pre its either cuz they have a great hand or a vunerable one, both of which are still good.
If the flop was all low cards id like it more but i still dont really like it. You need a read of a light threebettor or something to do this (in which im prob still not pushing a Q high flop).

I used to try to do this to. But then I figured out it's a huge error to put an opponent on something assuming he follows some standard line of thought.
In other words. I don't try this until I know he bets like this with nothing, or he starts 3-betting me lightly.

Assuming 100bb Eff. stacks, you are only getting 10x implied odds so i might even pitch TT preflop since you are OOP. That is a really tight play, but not a horrible one. I would probly call and look for a set and maybe play back on a rag flop, but like ISF said, this odd sized 3-bet is either a monster or a very vulnerable hand.

consensus seems to be this is bad then huh?
I will probably try to stay away from doing this in the future then without a better read.
For those results oriented, he thought for a long time then called and flipped up Ah9h and I held.
