villain is a solid, aggressive Finn. I have played against him before but under different sn. How do you like my play? These numbers are surprisingly good for me, thought they were closer to 40/60.. This hand would be a bit tougher if my stack was bigger but I forgot to reload before this one

Hmm, 5 handed. Folds to button who raises. You call with AQs and flop TPGK with the nut flush draw. You lead out and get raised behind. Both of your ranges are pretty large. You are ahead of the vast majority of his range, and nothing really scares you, except for AA maybe. But 2 aces are out leaving only 1 card combination for that so you can't really be worried about that. AK has a hard time calling here, but it's very close here even if he does call. very correct play against AK. Actually, 55-66 are bigger concerns than AA but if thats what he has, so be it. You flopped too big of a hand to be worried about that and you still have outs if thats what he does have. Most of the time, I think villain has a weaker ace and is drawing to 2 outs at best.
I like it.

Even against the strongest holdings here, you are drawing very much live

When I said he was solid that means he is raising AT+, perhaps PP's since he doesnt open-limp. And he knows how to fold.

I like it. If villian knows you play big draws like this, then he might call with AK/AQ/AJ/AT even. Another option might be to call the raise and CR all in on the turn, but using this line you risk villian checking behind on the turn to control the pot size, and your shortish stack doesn't have much fold equity against AK. Or you could just CR the flop and lead the turn. Basically I think your line is the most effective against AK, but not as effective against weaker aces. And your stack size complicates things a little. But yeah, I think given your stack size, position, and hand strength the line you took is probably best here.

I just hate being OOP with little more than PSB behind if I CR him, also felt that calling would be sub-optimal because he wouldnt pay me off if a diamond fell, I would get a decent pot if he had AJ/AT and didnt get aces up but I would let him catch and he would win half my stack if he has AK and we dont improve.

I can't count how many of these missed for me over the past 2 weeks. Your line is pefect. Like you said, if a diamond falls on the turn he has an easier time getting off his hand so make him put him money in when he feels ahead. I think if he had a set, he would have pushed instead of just raising your bet. He really should have folded this one as your play smells like a set. He would only have two outs.

He folded after thinking about 5 seconds, I am pretty sure he had AT+, he wouldnt raise me on the flop with a high PP IMO, and he wouldnt push with a set, he would raise. Money is too deep IMO to go AI for 270 on 60 pot.

He has to protect against a flush draw and $60 won't do it . So, if he had a set he has to bet at least $90 IMO. I play at 100NL and it seems every time I hit a hand on a drawing board I have to massacre their pot odds. I guess that's with 2+ people more often though. One always calls regardless.

Call the flop. Lead the turn with the intent of getting it all in or just check raise all in.

please be more precise. How can I get AI on turn by a)leading because he will probably just call b)checking because there is a chance that he'll check (slightly possible). Why is this line better? Just trying to get some discussion.

getting it on flop is so much better than getting it on turn for two reasons. you have more FE on flop, and it would suck to have to get it in on a blank turn
