opponent is 27/7/2. Passive, but not too much of a station. I've been aggressive postflop, not insanely so.

Full Tilt Poker Game #4875354393: Table Exley (6 max) - $0.25/$0.50 - No Limit Holdem - 22:12:29 ET - 2008/01/15

*** RIVER *** [Jh 5c Qs Qh] [7c]
YAVETUYA checks
trias55 has 15 seconds left to act
trias55 bets $34

I felt like he wouldnt be c/calling if he had a queen on the turn, but he is kinda passive. I felt like KJ, JT, J9, KT, T9 were his most likely holdings at that point. How spewy is this?

Would he c/c slowplay all the way to the river? Limp/flat call oop preflop would tell me 55 is in his range as well, but you would think he'd be raising that flop and turn for value. I just can't see him checking the river with a boat, whether 55 or QJ. Looks like a good river bet if you know he's not a station since QJ and 55 are not likely in his range at this point.

Is Q with a weak kicker in his range? Like T or 9?

sometimes guys with his kind of numbers like to slow play or trap when they feel they are ahead. personally i feel like you might be donating here. especially if opponent has you pegged as an aggro position player.
do the right thing.

His range gravitates towards J's that seek showdown and passive Q's when he calls $10 on the turn. The center of his range is probably QT exactly.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I've been aggressive on the flop, but not so much on later streets. This leads me towards believing the J as a strong candidate, as a player with his stats would be likely to 'defend' against my aggression on the flop with middle pair. The second queen just makes a c/c on the turn more viable from his perspective, as it's less likely I have it.

I'd say QT is definitely in his range, as he's 27 VPIP.

I think betting the turn is pretty bad here. I might even check flop behind.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

I think a very interesting last sentence.
Do you often determine a 'center of his range'. Do you use that to determine your bluffing frequency and betsizing?

I do, but I certainly have a lot of improvements to make to my game

Fold plefrop unless people are able to fold after putting money in the pot.

By the turn we know he's definitely not folding, just give up on river, he obviously sucks.

I hate doing this to guys who c/c with most pairs because I feel like their really shitty play has actually exploited me.

Raise pre-flop is good.
Flop is marginal and turn is questionable imo.
But as played the third barrel seems good depending on his went to showdown stat.
Currently thinking of a new quote/signature... Some sort of prayer to the Poker gods for enlightment etc..

I should maybe state that I am/was pretty damn sure he was folding a J if he had it on the river to that bet. That was just my intuitive read based on all of my observation of his play.

He did end up folding.

I agree with bair about timing, board texture is also good for threebarreling, but opponent definetely isn't a good person to threebarrel. So I probably lean towards disliking it.
