--Just wanted to check a couple hands, as I'm running bad and not sure if these are really good or not
-note for hand 1, I tend to overbet pretty frequently on the river, so this isn't really out of the norm

Hand 1
-villain has been more or less tight passive, something like 17/14/2.2 and hasn't done much of interest
-turn call was pretty fast

$3/$6 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($600.00)
CO ($647.00)
Hero (BTN) ($600.00)
SB ($625.00)
BB ($496.00)

Pre-flop: ($9, 5 players) Hero is BTN
2 folds, Hero raises to $15, 1 fold, BB calls $9

Flop: ($33, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $16, BB calls $16

Turn: ($65, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $55, BB calls $55

River: ($175, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $324

Hand 2
-Villain in this hand is another tight passive type player, who hasn't done anything of note
-AF of around 1.8 or something

5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($653.05)
CO ($114.00)

BB ($640.00)

Pre-flop: ($9, 5 players) Hero is SB
UTG raises to $18, 2 folds, Hero calls $15, 1 fold

Flop: ($42, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $36, Hero calls $36

Turn: ($114, 2 players)

1) Man i'd rather bet a blank than a king... This might still be plus ev though, I don't see how it can be that bad. There are just so many variables that could be much better.

2) I'd rather call than raise, I think his range is polarized to better hands that aren't folding to a raise and worse hands that are bluffing when he bets exactly the pot after checking the turn. Tough to put him on the Ad though.

in hand 1 I'd love the overbet with AK
but as renton said, I'd like a blank better to rep an overpair since that's a wider range of hands and I would bet close to pot

hand 2 I wouldn't go for a c/r after villain checked turn back for value so it's really suspicious as a bluff

Hand 1: I almost always find fast turn calls to be strong, although i highly doubt this is a Jack. Seems like a good type of played to overbet bluff rivers against but specific spot seems marginally bad eve with the metagame.

Hand 1: I wouldn't overbet because it limits our value range. I'd bet as low as 99 here for value on the river.

Hand 2: The problem is your only repping the Ad. I'd like the line with the Kd or better and I'd shove prob. I'm a little scared that he may actually check this turn with an Ad.

Yeah so? That's the only thing you can rep on these types of boards with a raise and a lot of players are gonna give you the credit. Tight/passives probably fall into this category.

As long as the turn timing isn't fishy you can be confident enough.

Hand 2 looks like a BS line to me.

Hand 1 looks like a great spot for an over-bet bluff, although the BN vs Blind dynamic creates sooo much mistrust.
