Finally got some time freed up to play a session this afternoon and have been sitting at this table 100ish hands. SB is playing around 36/25/2 at the time and has yet to 3-bet pre. So pretty laggy, but I can't really tell if he's a thinking lagg or just a button masher. Only notable hand was when he called a button open with 88 flopped a set and donked for about 3/4 pot then 3b shoved against buttons AA and then proceeded to bluff off like 300 bucks a couple of hands later.

It seems on the flop calling>raising>folding, and I could almost flip a coin to make my decision here.

Stars hadn't reloaded me from the last hand if your wondering why im not 100BB deep.

$3/$6 No Limit Holdem
PokerStars
5 players

Stacks:
Hero (UTG) ($479.65)
CO ($1331.75)
BTN ($754.10)
SB ($707.45)
BB ($1041.60)

Pre-flop: ($9, 5 players) Hero is UTG
Hero raises to $18, 2 folds, SB calls $15, 1 fold

Flop: ($42, 2 players)
SB bets $18

Definitely raise. I've almost never seen this be trips from any type of player, and you should be wanting to stack off.

WA/WB, I think calling is fine here. Let him continue to bluff worse and don't build a big pot with 2 outs if we are behind.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Well I know I definately want to build some kind of a pot against him here, but shipping seems meh if he decides to 3bet.
I think against his entire stacking off range we're a little better than even money and should I really be trying to push such small edges against this kind of guy?

If you think you're better than 50-50 against his stacking off range then raise for sure because sometimes he just calls your raise with a range you're a massive favorite against.

from the description the guy seems bluffy, so don't put a 3 bet spaz shove out of his abilities. raise it for value.

So I decided to play this hand for max value instead of just trying to catch bluffs.

Sizing thoughts and how easy is this river fold?
Flop: ($42, 2 players)
SB bets $18, Hero raises to $66, SB calls $48

Turn: ($174, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $166, SB calls $166

River: ($506, 2 players)
[color=#cc0000]SB bets $228
