What are your 3-bet and 4-bet ranges? in position and OOP.

how do you play a hand like AKs pf. Do you 4bet?

also, i'm talking about when 2 players are involved. NOT: a bet by player 1, a raise by us and then a raise of our raise by player 2.
i mean: a bet by player 1, a raise by us and a reraise by player 1

I will try to generalize, in the hope that someone that knows what they are talking about chimes in.

You should generally 3-bet with any hand you want to play, in position, against a loose RAISER (not a 40/4!) . Exceptions would be if stacks are not deep (<60 BB?). The deeper the stacks, the LOOSER the 3-bet. Vs. a 50BB shorty I think you should only re-raise good hands (88+, AQ+) but obv. depends if it's a gamblin' short or a ninja shorty.

You should generally only 3-bet OOP (i.e, from the blinds) when you are quite sure you have the best of it. Like a 30/25 opens for 3x on the button, and you have AJ+. Obviously you should be 3-betting QQ+/AQ+, but can loosen this a bit vs. a specific player. I would not 3-bet implied odds crap from the blinds (22, 97s) unless I had a very specific read that either:
1) initial raiser is very likely to fold to a c-bet if he misses
2) initial raiser has a very defined range and will stack off if we hit.

4 betting - basically just gets me into trouble. AK/KK/AA is standard. I wouldn't worry about loosening up unless one of the following was true:
1) stacks are very deep (200BB+) - so you can 4 bet < a/i
2) there is some 3-bet war history with this specific player.

Also, if you are 4-betting tight, you should probably flat call 1/2 the time with AK/KK/AA to avoid turning your hand face up.

I tend to play short sessions (2-3 hr or less) at FT 50NL 6m so I am not playing against the same "regulars" all the time. Metagame (obv.) changes things.
