I don't remember exactly how PN2006 plays but I remember that how he played his hands was quite strange/unusual. He wasn't a maniac bluffer.
I have a loose image. Raising a lot pf. And taking a lot of pots.
Texas Hold'em $2-$2 NL (Real Money)
Seat 1: PN2006 ($173 in chips)
Seat 4: Hero ($246.80 in chips)
Seat 7: GENSURU91 ($77.50 in chips)
Seat 8: I eat a fish ($236.25 in chips)
Hero is dealt [6, 8] (I don't remember the suits)
ANTES/BLINDS
I eat a fish posts blind ($1), PN2006 posts blind ($2).
PRE-FLOP
Hero bets $7, GENSURU91 folds, I eat a fish folds, PN2006 calls $5.
FLOP [board cards 6C,8C,4H ]
PN2006 bets $5, Hero bets $15, PN2006 bets $20, Hero calls $10.
TURN [board cards 6C,8C,4H,KS ]
PN2006 bets $50, Hero calls $50.
RIVER [board cards 6C,8C,4H,KS,4C ]
PN2006 bets $50, Hero???
The board pairs on the river, so even Kx beats so the river is a pretty standard fold I think.
Should I have played more aggro on the turn and flop though?
I think I should have raised to 20 or so on the flop maybe. But in hindseight it's probably better that I only raised to 15.
His most likely hands I think are a straight or a set (boat on river). I remember he plays funny though so maybe he had something unlikely like AA. either way I think I'm behind on the river.

Why didn't you get it all-in on the flop or turn? River is a fold as played.

because what does he get it allin with on the flop that i beat?
he has to be quite strong to reraise me on the flop and then bet the turn.
i'm not that strong on the flop or turn. why do i want to get it allin when i'm behind?

Tons of things! Flop i'd raise to 20-25 to is lead, and then push over his 3-bet. Get it all in by the turn please on this draw heavy board.

what do i beat that i go allin against?
i'm nearly certain he doesn't have a draw. he would make the 1st flop bet with his draw. but he definitely would not have reraised on the flop with his draw. he doesn't have a flush draw, straight draw or both.
he has an overpair, a set, 2p or a straight.
i only beat overpairs and 2p.
what do you think now?
the reason i say he doesn't have a draw is because of my read on him. i'm 95% certain he doesn't have a draw

this arguement is flawed because then you should have folded if your equity is really low.
In this pokerroom gamei stack with two pair on this board. He turns up with 99/JJ so often here.

i get very different replies to this post on 2p2:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...an=&page=&vc=1
a player with 2500 and another with 3500 posts both say fold/possible fold early on.
i agree with miffed's point though that it is pokerroom, he could have a wide range of hands.

Ace, why are you arguing this so much? This hand is as ABC as it gets. Raise pf, make a hand, bet it for value. As somebody said you're going to see 99-JJ here very often. What are you putting him on? 88/66? Well those are unlikely so you lose to 44 and 57(57 also very unlikely). The combination of hands that you beat that will call a push on the flop/turn outweigh the hands that will call a push that beat you.

So why not use your image to your advantage in this hand and take another pot but make it a big pot.
